A MISSING MAN.

SEEN IN WELLINGTON. For Press Association. WELLINGTON, Oct. 26. According to tho story given in a Blenheim paper, tho man Rollinshaw, who was reported to have been lost overboard from tho s.s. Blenheim some two months ago, was not drowned at all. On Saturday last Mr. D. Pilmer, a Blenheim resident, saw a young man outer a well-known public place in Wellington. After a short survey of tho suspect, who wore a largo hat, wig, and pince-nez, Pilmer went up and addressed him by his name. Tho man denied his identity. Pilmor learnt he had registered at tho hotel os “Lewis,” and managed, with tho assistance of the landlord, to obtain a close scrutiny of Rollinshaw in his bedroom, and there obtained confirmation of his suspicions. Notwithstanding his disguise, Rollinshaw kept to his bedroom all Sunday, up to <‘veuing, when he paid his score and left the hotel. Next day Pilmer again saw Rollinshaw in the city, and managed to get into touch with him. Rollinshaw then admitted his identity, lie. informed Bilmer that he got off the Blenheim as sho touched the river lunik, and made south across country to Soddon. He caught the coach there, and went on to Knikoura, thence to Christchurch, and up to Wellington.
