Under the Harbours Amendment Bill tho constitution of the New Plymouth Harbour Board is defined as two members appointed by the Governor and seven to bo elected by the electors of the New Plymouth Harbour Rating District. At present there are three Government nominees and six elected members. L. A. Nolan and Co. advertise a sole of strawberries at their mart tomorrow.

The British Motor and Cycle Distributing Agency have during this week acquired tho premises lately occupied by Emery, cycle importer, and as an introduction to New Plymouth resident* and settlors they intend offering their largo stock of British bicycles at public auction on Saturday next at 1 sharp. Tho sale will bo an unreserved one.
