The Daily Telegraph, discussing the willingness of the New South AVales Alliance to accept a Liquor Bill similar to that proposed in New Zealand, says Now Zealand’s Bill offers the people a cold choice between polar extremes, That the middle course of deduction is eliminated is not surprising, in view of the tendency in New South Wales and New- Zealand to push it aside and to wage war between continuance and nolicenso, hut whether the cause of temperance benefits by the refusal to hoar the voice of moderation is questionable.
