COLLECTING THE MEN. Par Press Association. AUCKLAND, Oot. 24. Mr. G. F. Wyatt, manager of Captain Scott’s Antarctic expedition while in Now Zealand, and Lieutenant Gran, of Norway, who is accompanying the expedition as special instructor In the use of the ski (the Norwegian snowshoe), arrived' by the Maheno from Sydney yesterday on their way to Lyttelton, and left by to-night’s train tor Wellington.* Mrs. Wyatt accompanies her husband.

' STORES FOR THE VOYAGE. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 25. Mr. J. J. Kinsey, tho Now Zealand representative of tho Antarctic expedition, reports that 20001 b. of butter has been presented to tho expedition from Hawko’s Bay, in addition to canned tongues and meat. All the coal, mutton, beef and clieoso required has now been presented in tho Dominion, and to complete its stores the expedition requires only 10001 b. of butter, 10001 b. of ham, and 16001 b. of bacon. / A NAPIEII'OFFERING. NAPIER, Oct. 25. Tho business people have arranged to supply Captain Scott’s Antarctic expedition with 15001 b. butter. The amount will probably bo raised to 20001 b.
