Cardinal Moran, referring to the attitude of tho Roman Catholic Church towards politics, said it was absolutely independent and had no understanding with any political lenders. Ho hoped that Roman Catholic voters would long maintain that independent attitude, and vote against tho men who wore insulting their religious convictions.
