MEAT TENDERS. ■ Per Press Association WELLINGTON, Sept. 29. The Imperial Government is inviting tenders for the. supply of fresh, meat and live cattle at Malta and Gozo equal to 250,000 lb dead meat with a furtherprovision of an equal amount if so desired for twelve months from January 1 next. Robert Walton, aged 22, employed by a coal merchant at Newmarket, is reported to have been missing since Tuesday afternoon. Walton was 1 to have been married yesterday afternoon.
