Bradford wool.—The market is firm and prices are unchanged. NEAVTON KING. Mr. Newton King’s weekly rep’ort states:— At Kaponga on .. Friday I held a weauer fair in conjunction with my ordinary cattle sale. The yarding was not up to advertised numbers, several vendors who had entered their cattle failing to put iu an appearance. There were about 300 penned and everything offered was sold at the hammer. Weaners made 25s to 30s, do. small 20s to 24s 6d, 15 months heifers £2 12s Cd, 15 to 18-months steers £2 13s to £3 0s 6d, store cows £2 9s 6d to £3 us Gd, forward do. £3 12s Gd to £3 17s 6d, fat do. £4 Cs to £4 14s.

On the same clay I held my annual sheep fair at Stratford when there was a fair yarding o about 4000 sheep being penned. The attendance of buyers was good, and bidding was brisk throughout. There was a keen inquiry for young breeding owes thought practically everything was sold at the hammer. Two-tooth ewes made 14s to. 16s, 4 to 6 and f.f.m. owes 13s 6d to 15s 7d, f.m. ewes us to IDs 3d, lambs shorn 5s to 7s 6d, do. woolly 5s to 10s, 2tooth wethers up to'lOs lOd, Lincoln rams 1J guinea, English Leicester 1 guinea, Shropshire, 5 to 11 guineas. At Awakino on Saturday 1 held my annual sheep and cattle fair. There was a small yarding of sheep though nearly everything was sold either'at the hammer or privately at satisfactory prices. The cattle yards were well filled, principally with grown stock all of which met with good competition, nearly every pen being quitted at prices beyond vendors reserves. F.f.m. ewes made 10s to 10s sd, two-tooth do. 13s 3d, aged do. 5s Cd, 2-tuoth wethers 10s to 10s 6d, 4-tooth do. 11s, 2-year steers £3 Ids, 3 to 4-year bullocks £5 8s Cd to £5 13s 6d, 4-year forward do. £0 Is, 3-year do. £4 3s to £4 Bs, store cows £3 to £3 2s, forward do. £3 14s 6d to £4 2s Cd, 18-months heifers £2 9s Gd to £2 15s Cd, 2|-year do. £4 Is. On Tuesday at Urenni ray sheep fair attracted a largo attendance of buyers, but owing to unavoidable causes nearly 4000 sheep were short yarded, ■which reduced the entries considerably. All young sheep mot with good competition there being an unsatisfied demand for 2 and 4-tooth owes and wethers, the former class selling especially well. Two-tooth ewes made 8s to 16s 2d, old ewes 4s 7d to Gs 7d, 2'tooth wethers 9s 7d to 10s 2d, 2,4, and C-tooth do. 11s 2d, woolly lambs 8s to 8s Bd, shorn do. 6s 7d to 7s 2d, 2-tooth Romney and English Leicestci rains were in good demand, but Lincoln and aged rams wore not saleable, 2-tooth English Lcicestcra made ,34 to 4 guineas, Romney do. 3 to 31 guineas, Lincoln do. 1 to 2 guineas, Shropshire guineas, aged do. 10s Gd to 15s 9d. At Rahotn on the same day there was a fair yarding, mostly of weaTiers, all of which were quitted either at the hammer or afterwards. Weanors made 24s Cd to 325, do. small los to 22s 6d, 15-months steers £2 16s 6d, 18-montha to 2-year steers £3 7s 6d,

ACckors and Stevens report that there was only a small muster of cattle iu their Inglewood yards on Wednesday.
