SHIPPING AND COLLIERY INTERESTS., A SYDNEY COMPANY. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. (Received Feb. 19, 9.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 19. A company, representing some of tho loading shipping and colliery interests has be.en formed in Sydney to work a coal mine at Powlett River, in Victoria. Tho company bas secured 1400 acres near the .Victorian State mine, and expects to start' operations at an early date. The reason assigned for tho formation of the company is that Victorian legislation is more favourable to mining operations, and that no bar is offered to the employment of free labour, therefore there is less risk of shipping and other industries being blocked in the event of strikes in other centres.
