Mr. Hugo had St. Mary’s Hall well filled last evening at his lecture on “Noses.” The next lecture will bo on Tuesday evening upon ‘Eyes.” . Farmers are reminded that Mr. Newton King’s Waiwakaiho sale will bo held on Friday next instead of Thursday on account of the races. Anyone wanting Jerseys would do well to attend this sale. On Tuesday next Webster Bros, will sell at their mart a quantity of furniture and sundries on account of two ladies leaving New Plymouth. Full particulars appear in our auction column.
