THE AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Fob. 11. The Wellington centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to-night appointed Messrs. R. A. Guise, W. Coffey, and R. Bridge delegates to the conference of centres at Auckland on February 20. , The, Wellington team for the championships comprises eight men; with Mr. Guise as manager. A ninth man (Burdekin) will accompany the team at his own expense. Eight will bo chosen from Woodger, M’Kay, Evenson, Cashman, Kerr, Hubbard, Wilson, Wilton, Heffcr and Hubbard. ■ CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 11. The following team has been selected to represent the Canterbury centre at. the New Zealand championship meeting at Aucklandloo, 220, and 440yds. flat, R. Opio; half-mile flat and 120 and 440yds. hurdles, H. St. A. Murray ; one and three-mile flat, C. Pugh ; long and high jump, 120 and 440yds. hurdles, C. L. Orboll. H. E. Hamdton will also accompany the team to compete in tho hurdle races.
