SUBSTANTIAL FINES. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 11. ihe Police Court, Samuel Simon rtvmrwick, a coloured man, employed as a donkey man on the steamer AVhakatane, admitted having unshipped dutiable goods to tbe value of about £27, with intent to evade tho payment of Customs dues. A fine of £3O was imposed. Sarah March, Warwick s confederate, wbo was arrested m his company wearing some of _the goods, was convicted and fined £25.
