FOOTBALL.
A SCHOOL MATCH
On the Sports Ground yesterday afternoon the Central and West End School teams met in a match in aid of the Sports Ground fund. West End won by ten points (two converted tries) to nil, and thus gained possession of a football generously presented by Mr. B. Tippins ab a trophy for the match. The winners had the best of the game nearly all through, although smaller and lighter than their opponents. Crone and M'Given scored tries that Hooker converted with two excellent kicks. Some of the boys shaped really well, notably Patterson, Stohr, and W. Crone (West End) and Kong, a Chi now boy in th« Central School team. Mr. Woods refereed.
