(Frum Our Own Correspondent.) A meeting of the Warea branch of ho New Zealand Farmers' Union was eld in the Warea Hall on Thursday,, ••ptember 9. There was a fair attenance. Mr. J. Burgess occupied the ban;. Mr. J. B. Sim, the Taranaki rovincial secretary, was present and aye. an interesting address on union I fairs. A letter was read from the <Vw Zealand Farmero Distributing Co., sking this branch to protest against be action of the Government. The allowing resolutions were passed: That he Warea branch strongly protests gainst the action of the Government v connection with the Farmers'' Disributing Company, and believes that ny law whictf prevents justice being one to individuals hy the Government hould be immediately repealed.' The final competition for Mr. V- Ptobinson's trophy took place on the ocal range on Saturday last, Mr. W- B.
