The swimming season is Hgnni rapidly approaching and next month will doubtless nee the familiar fates ot bait water devotees wending their way to and from the Municipal baths, fcven now, although the water hat not yet altogether loBt its winter chill, bcveral partake of their morning dip. . The local swimming club authorities are confident that the club will be much atronger than last season, anticipating «n uctive membership ot at ICa ih2f?th«t the West End polo tram is determined to wrest the championship shield from the East Kntlers this season. The latter have won the trophy the past season, and the coming season is likely to furnish some interesting contests. . . , .
