Correspondence from the Referees' Association stated that trouble had occurred at a match in Waitara with tho spectators. — It was resolved that Chf-"-+OH be sent a copy of Referees' Association's letter and asked to take steps to prevent a repetition. It was further resolved that all clubs should take stops to keep their playing grounds free from spectators, under pain of disqualification. The resignation of Mr. A. Humphries from the Selection Committee of the representative team was accepted with regret. A vote of thanks was tendered him for his past services. Mr. H. Mynott was appointed in hia stead. The Now Zealand Rugby Union wrote stating they had no power to reinstate expelled players. This referred to the application from the disqualified professionals. The Clifton Club notified that Mr. A. T. Lake, of tho Club Jlotol, Waitara. has expressed his intention of donating a set of oap.s to the winner of the senior competition in tho northern division. — The offer was accepted with thanks. In reference to the alleged misbehaviour of the Stratford Ist juniors at a hotel in New Plymouth, it was decided to ask the Stratford club to forward the evidence taken at their inquiry, to the union, and ask the hotel keeper if he had any complaint to make.
