Clarke, M Leod, Crombie, and Skogliind. A batch of applications for reinstatement «ince last meeting, and agreed to tiv the executive, were endorsed. Tho Clifton Club protested against tlio inclusion of D. Moir in the Eltham soi'ior team on the 3rd inst., on the grounds that he was not a bona fide resident of the Eltham district on that date, it beinsr alleged that he was a [ resident of Mahoenui. Evidence was taKen from both clubs, and after discussion it was resolved that the protest be dismissed. Mr. Spurdlo wrote reporting having ordered off the field M. Paltridge in tho Clifton-Stratford senior match. Pnltridge explained in a letter that tho blow was not intentional, and that ho had boon iitterforod with by Bullot. Pr.ltridup was suspended till the end of thr> season. Mr. Spurdle also reported that H. G. Hicks had beon ordered off the fiold for rough play in the CliftonEltham match on June 3.— lt was resolved that Hicks be cautioned. Mr. J. Young wrote reporting that O'Sullivan (Opunake) and N. Andrews (Okato) had been ordered off the field in the Okato-Opunake match for rough play. — It was decided to refer the letter to the Western District Committee, the players to be suspended in the moantime. J. Colman roapphod to have his disqualification removed. — It was decided to rcmovo the disqualification at the end of the season. A letter was received from the Star Club applying to have E. Bellringer's di<- qualification removed from date instead of waiting till the end of the soison. — The request was not entertained. Correspondence from the Referees' Association stated that trouble had occurred at a match in Waitara with tho spectators. — It was resolved that Chf-"-+OH be sent a copy of Referees' Association's letter and asked to take steps to prevent a repetition. It was further resolved that all clubs should take stops to keep their playing grounds free from spectators, under pain of disqualification. The resignation of Mr. A. Humphries from the Selection Committee of the representative team was accepted with regret. A vote of thanks was tendered him for his past services. Mr. H. Mynott was appointed in hia stead. The Now Zealand Rugby Union wrote stating they had no power to reinstate expelled players. This referred to the application from the disqualified professionals. The Clifton Club notified that Mr. A. T. Lake, of tho Club Jlotol, Waitara. has expressed his intention of donating a set of oap.s to the winner of the senior competition in tho northern division. — The offer was accepted with thanks. Tho Now Zealand Rugby Union for-«-.ir<lo<l the Taranaki Union's share of the British tour profits— £3B. The Kaponga Club wrote stating that a e "i!ior player had played for thoir U urst junior team, and asked the union to allow them to play the match again. — Tho request was granted, and tho game is to be played on the same ground at end of the second round of fixtures. In reference to the alleged misbehaviour of the Stratford Ist juniors at a hotel in New Plymouth, it was decided to ask the Stratford club to forward the evidence taken at their inquiry, to the union, and ask the hotel keeper if he had any complaint to make.
