The Supreme Court criminal sittings were completed to-day. 3lattheiv Christie was sentenced to six months' imprisonment and ordered to receire 15 lashes for indecent assault on a young girl; and Sidney M'Donald wns acquitted on the same charge. It was
not shown that M'DoHald was a party, " with Christie to thb offence. Michael' - O'Donnell was found not guilty of attempting to defeat the ends of justice by bribery. No evidence was offered on a 'second charge, and his Honour directed that a verdict of not guilty .should bo returned.
