P«* Prestf Aseooiation. GISBOIINE, May, 1. An eruption at White Island was seen from tho steamer JECaipara. early on Thursday morning from 2 a.m. to daylight. A continuous stueam of black smoke ' in which flame was distinctly seen rose from the island. The eruption was visible from a distance of 32 nnloß.-
