LONDON, April 30. Wheat. — The markets are firmer owing to tho improvement in American cargoes which are hardening. Australian is quoted at 42s 3d. Holders aro asking 42s 6d for tho shipments afloat, also for the April-May shipment. A small inquiry is made for Australian on spot at 465. Flour. — A sharp decline has been made in flour at Glasgow owing to the heavy arrivals. In Australian sales were made at 33s 6d ex quay. A small quantity is offering in London at 33s to 345. Butter. — The market is quiet. A good Inquiry is being made for choicest Now Zealand at about 100s to 101s pnd Australian at 9 ls to i)ss. Other sort** are neglected. Choose. — Tlio market is firm. White Now Zealand is quoted at 60s to 61s and coloured 62s to 635. Silver, 21 7-1 «d. Copper. — On spot £57 7s 6d, tlnce msnths €58 2s fld. Tin. — On spot t'l32 ss, three month - CI:W 10s. Lead.
