With regard to the question of ventilation. Mr C. E. Maker stated that the outgoing vestry w a.s oi opinion that much of the stuffiness of the church could be obviated by the use of electric lighting instead of gas lighting. Mr. Baker dealt with the question at length, and proposed a resolution to the olfect that the congregation approved of the proposal, commended it to the earnest coiibidei ation of the new \estrv. and hoped to see the alteration effected before next summer. The motion wns carried with only one dissentient.
