QUEENSLAND EMIGRANTS.
A PROPOSAL DECLINED.
By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright. LONDON, April 29. Sir H. Toser, Queensland's AgentGeneral, suggested that the Imperial Government should co-operate with Queensland in establishing a depot at the London Docks for the inspection of immigrants, as some were possibly alions. The Earl of Crewe replied that lie was unable to agree to the' proposal, whiqh would involve a, departure from the Emigration Information; Office's policy; which limited the giving of information.
