Continental butter-* have this week met with a fairly good sale, and stocks nro fairly well cleared ii|>. Prices rbtained were about the same as last week.

Danish and Swedish Butters. —The .irnvals this week were sitglitly smaller than in the iirovioas week. Tin-re I'as l>eon a steady market and very little lias been left over unsold. Prices remain practically unchanged at last week's fimires. viz., ll.j* to 116s foi choicest quality.

Siberian Butter. — Annals of fresh, new-made butters continue to be oi small dimensions. There continues t<. !)•• a good demand for choicest quality at previous rates, viz., 100s up to 104s. Cold-stored goods are getting sl,>ulv reiuced, and we anticipate that within the next few weeks tlii-; class will hay» been entirely cleared.' Our wires from Liberia this week again quote the market there as being lower, prices, how"\er, are still too high to induce either English or German operators to % do much.

Argentine B'ltter. — The demand for this has been quietly Rteady. Prices ir ome cases ore mentioned as being a hade easier. We quote strictly choicest lOlte to 10-Js. During the past week the market has ruled fairly steady, and stocks are moving slowly into- consumption at about previous rates. Australian Butters — The arrivals this week are the s.s. Moron with 13.00 C and the Peshawur with about 12,000 boxes. Strictly choicest Victorian and New South Wales can easily be had at 103s to l"04s; choio^t firs* grodo Queensland 100s. second grnde 98s. third grado J)4s to 90s. TnsaKed still commands a premium. Choicest quality may be quoted at 107s to 108s. New Zenland Butter.— The ».s. Tainui is discharging this week.
