TARANAKI METROPOLITAN COMMITTEE.

The adjourned mooting of the Tara naki Metropolitan Committee was hok 1 at the secretary's office last night. Pro <-ont : Col. Kill's (in the chair), Messrs Nolan, Sole, Cliff. Hompton, Weston, '■Joldwater, and Blundell. An ap'j!'>g.\ for absence was received from Mr Leppor. Jockeys' licenses were granted t Albert Ellernt and H. J. Stevens, r.m apprentices' license to G. H. V. Clare hurt.

The matter of race dates was hole over until next meeting. Correspondence was reeei\od from the Aucklana Racing Club re disqualifies tions of W. ,H. Pearson (jockey), A. A. Phillips (bookmaker), C Nicholson and hor«o Luno. N. Cunningham (trainer), uid A. Whitakor (jockey ).
