ABATTOIRS DISPUTE

Mr. A. L. Humphries, ' secretary to the New Plymouth Employers' Association, wrote with reference to the dispute between th^ New * Plymouth Borcuah Council and the Auckland Slaughtermen's Urion, stating that 4ie had received the following wire fiom Mr. W. Pryor, who was appointed by the Council to act on their bejia lt before the Arbitration Court hold at Auckland the same day; "Advise Borough Council case thrown out on ground that Court had no power to deal with it. Very decisive victory."
