[The Pourquoi Pas, with Dry Charcot's second Antarctic expedition (ten wards- which the French Parliament granted a subsidy of £32,000) sailed 7 from Havre en August 15. Dr. Char-* cot intended first to make a collection of. the fossils to which attention j*l& drawn by • Dr. tfordenskyjqld, and afterwards to explore the Tegion .lying scuth of- Loubet Island.]
