DTJNEDIN,' March 28/ ' Oscar Kossub was brought before Mr, Widdowson, S.M., yesterday afternoon, charged, with escaping from prison at the Heads on the 19th inst. His Worship convicted prisoner and ordered him to be fed on bread and water for seven days and, in addition, to forfeit 728 marks, the number of marks necessary under the regulations to entitle him to 91 days' remission of sentence. Xossub wilFbe brought before the Court &t a later date charged with breaking arid entering the house of James Dick and stealing therefrom a quantity of wearing apparel. *"
