INCITING TO RESIST. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 29. Cuba Street was the scone of an exciting arrest jn Saturday night, when a constable wa.s attempting to arrest {■> drunken man who resisted violently. The latter was encouraged by several in the crowd, which consisted of over three hundred people. After an exciting scene, tho inebriate and taree others were arrested. They were brought before the Court to-day and fines ranging from £2 to £5 inflicted. For inciting the man to resist onr-, of the defendants was sentenced to a month's imprisonment.
