MAJOR-GENERAL HOAD.
By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright. (Received March 29,, 8.25 a.m.) NEW YORK, March 28. Major-General Hoad was cordially welcomed by President Taft on his visiting America. The authorities have given him the fullest facilities to visit the military centres of fortification.
[Major-General Hoad was attache from the Commonwealth military 'forces with the Japanese arm}* in Manchuria in 1904 duping the Russo-Japancso War.]
