AUSTRALIAN AND FRENCH INTERESTS. By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright. (Received March 29, 8.25 a.m.) LONDON, March 28. At tho instance of the Hon. J. W. Taviu-ner, Agent-General in London for Victoria, and with a view to safeguarding the interests of producers of Australian wines (the latter carrying a" greater proportion of alcohol compared with French wine), Mr Winston Churchill, President of the Board of Trade, has decided to hear the Australian objectors to France's overtures regarding the new treaty for French wines, to facilitate her exports to Great Britain of her thin wines.
