TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB. METROPOLITAN. COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the Metropolitan Committee was held last night in the secretary's office. Present: —Messrs Lepper (chairman), Nolan, A. Cliff, J. H. *Hempton, A. R. Standish, Blundell • and W. C. Weston. The sub-committee's action in passing the Opunak,e programme was confirmed. Tr.ainers3-licenses were granted to W. Elliot and to C. H. Moss; subject to the report from the Wanganui Jockey Club being satisfactory. Disqualifications for having taken part in unregistered meetings prior to January 'IT,' \SOS, were removed from Joseph Moore (Wanganui) and James Simpson (Opunake). ■ At his own request, R. Barlow's jockey's license was cancelled.
