Carrinntoii Hoad defeated Now Plymouth Wanderers, on the Rocrcation Sports Ground, by eiy;ht wickets. Jack, Gowd, and Nicoll were absent from the Wanderers' team. A. Humphries replaced Saunder« in the Carrington Road team. In their first innings Wanderers, batting ono man short, made only 48 run.s. Their second innings they declared closed at six wickets for 78 runs. Carringtqn Road replied with 70 in their first innings, and two wickets tor 07 in their second innings. Hill (1.5 not out and 28) made top score for Wanderers, and Wallace (17 and 23 not out) was the highest scorer for Carrington Road.
