AN ELECTION CONUNDRUM.
(To She Editor.) Sir. —The writer recently took part in an election by ballot in which two candidates polled the same number for second place. This is quite a possibi^ ljty at the forthcoming Parliamentary elections and it will be interestig to learn whether any provision has been made In the Act for such a contingency. I am, etc., F.P.C.
