THE ASSOCIATION GAME.
BROWN SHIELD WON BY WELLINGTON. DUNEDIN, Sept. 11. The final Association match for the Brown Challenge Shield was played today between Wellington- tind Otago in splendid weather. Wellington played the better game, and won by 4 goals to 2. For the winners, Gibson, Ash (2) and Shea scored, while B,aillie and Ussher were responsible for Otago s goals. The visiting teams were entertained at 5 asmoke social this evening, when the Shield was presented by the Mayor.
