Mrs. Georgefe orchestra provided good music and Messrs lL Humphries and W. Way, M.C.'s performed thoir "duties in courteous and obliging ■ manner. The floOr Was in good order -special attention having been paid to it goring tho afternoon by Messrs MoreyV Hoskm, George, Stokes, and A. Humphries. The supper tables had been attractively decorated with narcissi, violets, -and other, spring by Miss Hanna. \ Supper was provided by the ladies of the districts The ladies' committee consisted of Mesdames Dockrill (president), Leatham, Wylie, G. Tisch, F. ;• E. Clarke, Perm, S. Hooper, Rollo, ' Stocker, Back, Simmons, F. Richards, R. Jury, and E. M. Smith, Misses v Wade, E. Collis, Godfrey, Humphries (2), Nicol and Hanna (2). . ; A special word~-of praise is due to v . Mr A. Humphries, the energetito feec-/ retary, ' and Mr F. Bellringer (chair^rman of the Hospital Board) who had rendered him valuable support. Mr.\ L. E. Hoffmann, of the British and v Continental -Piano Company, gave the use of the piano, Mr C. E. As 4 a result of the great success' of last night's gathering it 5 is proposed to make the Wew Plymouth Hospital Ball an^annual affair.
