PARIHAKA ROAD BOARD.

The settlers promised £11 10s. — The Board sanctioned work to the cost of £21 10s to be done by S. Vickery. Mr Feaver wrote asking for the toj end of Ihaia Road to be made "navi gable" for a milk cart, and enclosed £t from himself and £1 from, Mr Soren sen, as a donation towards the cost. It was resolved td apply to the Public Trustee for part of grant to Punihi and Ihaia Roads. Tenders are to be called for making ten chains of the, Kaweora Road, and also for forming eighteen chains on the upper Waiteika Road. On the suggestion of the foreman ii was decided to ask the Public Trustet to fell some bush on the side of Opourapa Road, as the shade kept the Road wet. . , The Clerk laid an informatior against thp Board's horse for breaking the office window, 3ft square. The horse had been allowed to run on the roads — It was decided to haye the glass pui in,^ and give the horse xhree months (ii It was agreed to find timber for the Dairy Company to put in the culvertr required and the approach to th< creamery being bHiilt on Kahui Road. The Roads Department asked for the Board's consent to the Carrington Roao deviation.— Agreed to. General accounts to the amount o'. £236 and loan accounts £84 were pass ed for payment.
