The retirement of Canterbury y at the beginning of tho week rather a upset, the arrangements in the senior » crade, and both Wairarapa A and Nels ton had byes to-day. Hawke's Bay * beat Wellington A. by 4 goals; *° 2, ? and Wairarapa B». boat Wellington B. - by 1 to nil. In the junior grade, Wel- * lineton B. beat Wanganui by 2 to nil ; v Wellington A. beat Horowhenua by 1 * to nil ; and Hawke's Bay had a bye.
