TO-DAY'S WEATHER

Captain Edwin's weather forecast for !24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day is as follows: — Strong winds to gale from the north after ten hours. Glass will fall. Tides good. Sea considerable. Rain probable. The rain has come, true to Captain Fidwin's prediction, and the wind has risen considerably since this morning. The sea this morning was moderate at New Plymouth, ana smooth at all other stations along this coast from Wniißaniii to Manukau Heads.
