TO MR, JENNINGS, M.P.
(Special to Herald.) WAITARA, Sept. 7. A deputation representing the borough and county councils waited on Mr. W. t. Jennings, M.P., at Waitara, and discussed the building of a bridge over the Mokau* Mr. Jennings stated that he bad brought the matter before the Premier and the Department, with the result that plans were being prepared and an investigation made. The deputation also urged the completion of the Otaroa Road. Mr. Jennings said he had received an application from the Clifton County, and forwarded it to the Department. He intended to pursue 1 the matter and obtain as much as possible. / j
