Tho Association trial match played at Stratford on Thursday resulted in a win for the north team by foiu- goaU to one. Tho representative team will leave for Dunedin on Saturday week to take part in the Hrown Shield tournament. At a meeting of the r lnranaki Association oti Thursday it was decided to play the cup final, Stratford v. llawera, at Hawera on Thursday next. The Napier High .School football team arrives by to-night's train. Till Tuesday the visitors will be the guests of the Now Plymouth High School fifteen, against whom they will play a match on Monday afternoon in the Recreation Sports Ground. Tho Napier fifteen is said to be very strong x 1 1 i t> year.
