TO-DAY' S WEATHER

Captain Edwin's weather forecast for. twenty-four hours from 9 a.ni. today is as follows: — Strong winds to gale from the west. Glass will fall. Tides high. Rain probable. The barometer continued to fall yesterday, and was down to 29.70 at New Plymouth this morning. There is showery weather in most parts of tho Dominion to-day. The sea at 9 a-m. to-day was rough at Cape Egmdnt and Raglan, moderate at New Plymouth and, Kawhia, and smooth at Manukau Heads.
