TO-NIGHT.

A musical treat is promised to New Plymouth people this • evening, when the Mallinson concert party appears at the Theatre Royal. The principals are Mr. and Mrs. Malhnsoiu; Tho New Zealand tour opened in Auckland, and the success attained was most toronounCed, the recital being described aa the finest ever heard in Auckland. Mr. Mallinson is well known as one of the finest of modern song writers. Ho has composed several hundreds of songs, many of which are being constantly sung by the greatest artists at Home. Mrs. Mallinson, who is a Dime, is said to be one of the finest siiigers hor country has produced, and she and her husband have had the honour of appearing before Her Majesty Queen Alexandra, under whose distinguished patronage' the present tecitals.are being given. Mr. and Mrs. Mallinson are supported by three other artists.
