MARSLAND HILL MEMORIAL.

A mcotinsr of tho Masland Hill Memorial Committee was held at Mr J. C. Davies' office on Saturday. Captain F. J. ?rlace was in the chair. Several donations were received, two bem^ from Imperial Hooimonts which served m Now Zealand — the second battalion of the 18th Royal Irish and the battalion of the 14th Regiment. The contract for ercctinij, the monument was left to Messrs Parkinson, oi Auekhmd. Resolutions were passed electing Mr S. Peicy Smith, chairman, rr^, retting that Captain Standish could not sec 1 hiV wav to continue to act as chairman, and requesting Mr Edward Dockrill to continue to act as treasurer.
