ANOTHER LITTLE STRIKE AT NEWCASTLE. / (Received April 14, 9.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 14. Tho strike has been settled. The Seamen's Union agreed to the coastal shipowners having a month in which to arrange for all tho non-unionist crews being brought together into six steamers. In the meantime the unionists and non-unionists will work together on the vossels. Troublo has also cropped up at Newcastle. Thirty-three out of thirtyeight non-unionists employed by the Newcastle-Hunter River Company struck on* the ground that under the new agreement they were paid casual rates instead of weekly wages. Eleven have now returned to work.. The places of the others have been filled with unionists.
