THE EXHIBITION 1851 SCHOLARSHIP.
Per Press Association. . WELLINGTON* April ,12,, v The Senate of the University of New Zealand met yesterday and eleoted the Exhibition 1851 science research scholar for the year. The" examiners in England had been unable to decide between the itwo candidates,- A.- M. Finlayson, M.Sc, of Dunedin, and D. E. Hansen, B.Sc, of Auckland. After lengthy discussion the scholarship was awarded to Mr. Finlayson.
