The Railway Board of Appeal recom~ mends a lesser punishment lnthecaa* , of Thomas Timings, late porter at Httkanui, who was dismissed after the accidental derailing of a train. k ? JThft Minister has approved the finding. In the case of Si P. Evans, work* shops manager at Hillside, who appealed against the decision of the authori* ties, regarding his promotion, the appeal was dismissed.
