DAMAGES FOR POISONING.
FARMER SUED FOR £400. Per Press Association. GORE, April 10. Claims totalling £400 brought against John Dickson, farmer, of Otama, were heard at the Court. Judgment was reserved. ' Claimants are Dickson's employees. They claim damages fpr injuries; sustained by eating foodstuff containing poison. It is alleged that a tin of "havoc" preparation used for killing calif orman thistle, fell and the contents, reached the foodstuff and poisoned it. '
