The German Government is placing orders this spring for the construction of three large battleships to take the place of\the Oldenburg, the Siegfried, and the Blowulf . In addition there, aro to be constructed several large armour-, ed cruisers, two smaller cruisers and twelve ocean going torpedo boats.
