WELLINGTON. PONY MEETING.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 28.The second meeting of the Wellington Pony and Galloway Club, postponed from the previous- Saturday, was held at Miramar to-day in fine weather. The attendance was about 2000. Auckland ponies won four out of the six events. Thirty-two bookmakers took out licenses. Results: — Maiden, five furlongs^ — Winnie 1, Lady Mason 2, Dan McConnell 3. Trial — Balgonie 1, Puketotara 2, Normandale 3. March Handicap— Mutineer (late Dr Quest) 1, Inspiration 2, Kanhoe 3. Seatoun Handicap-^Herculean 1, Kitty 2, Cassina 3> * V *, Tradesmen's Purse^ — Weka 1, Bellevuo 2, Marquis 3. Flying — Mutineer 1, Inspiration 2, Kanhoe 3.
