BURIAL OF THE DUKE OF DEVONSHIRE,

The remains of the Duke of Devonshire were- buried with the simplest ceremony. , , Two retainers watched, tho coffin at Edenson Church. At midnight the mourners, including representatives of the King and the German Kaiser, met at -the church. ' The workmen of the i estate and the gamekeepers assembled at the Cavendish private burial-ground. The Duchess was present in a Bath chair. At a memorial service at St. Margaret's, London, all the leading politicians were, present.
