Mf W- J. Kent, representative of the Bristol Docks\ the property of the Corporation of the West of England metropolis, is on a visit to Taranaki. Misses LAL A Qkts and< E. &ey»i have Been** appointed!*' delegates from the Whiteiey Young Ladies' Bible Class to attend the Annual Convention to be held at Palmersion during Easter.
Mr Robert Irvine, of Nelson, exohampion rifleman, who was married a few days ago, is, at present an inmnt« of the Picton Hospital. He is suffering from a mild attack of fever. Mr Keith, manager of the Bonithon Petroleum CoSapany, returned to New Plymouth on Saturday night from Wellington -where he had 'been-on business connected with : the company. Mr E« O. Lightband, manager of the local branch of the New Zealand Clothing Company, returned on Friday from A/visit to Dunedin. Mr W. Wales and Mrs Wales are to leave on Saturday on a trip to England. Mr Wales, was recently in the Normanby Hotel, Normanby, and has resided recently at Fitzroy. It is fifty years since Mr Wales left his native land.
