Four rinks from Patea visited Wanganui on Wednesday, and were defeated by the Wanganui Club by 98 to 75. The Patea Press says the feature o£ the match was a brilliant recovery made by Gilshnan's rink, but we should think that the leading feature was the fact that the Patea team included two ladies — Mrs Thompson and Miss Cameron. In the final rink match for the trophy presented by Mr Percy Smith for competition by the Now Plymouth Club Hall's rink defeated A. K. Smart's by 19' to 15. . Hall and his second, Burgess, have now to play a pairs match against the third and lead, George Grey and Wright. The winners of this game will then play a handicap singles for tho trophy.
